Even the most experienced therapists get stuck or feel overwhelmed in their work at times. Consultation and supervision are formal, reflective processes focused on improving clinical skills, managing complex cases, and promoting professional wellness.

I offer:

With professional consultation services, I help mental health professionals such as psychologists, social workers, and psychotherapists to work through challenging cases, develop practical skills, and navigate ethical dilemmas.

Professional consultation with me can enhance your clinical practice and skills by:

  • Learning to integrate CBT and attachment theory
  • Introducing the practice of journaling
  • Overcoming stuck points with clients by increasing reflective functioning
  • Helping their clients sort out their personal narrative.
  • Identifying professional blind spots and gaps.

These consultation meet the requirements for registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) and College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

My approach is structured, direct, and adapted to your specific needs. Whether we’re working together one-on-one, connecting through a workshop, or you’re engaging with one of my courses or articles — everything I offer is designed to help you better understand yourself, your patterns, and the dynamics that show up in your life.

This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level advice. It’s about making sense of what’s going on, using evidence-based frameworks, and moving toward clarity and practical change. I offer individual therapy, speaking engagements, online workshops, and resources that meet you where you are and give you tools you can actually use.

Court-Ordered Parenting Assessments (S.30)

Parents face numerous difficult decisions when they decide to separate. Sometimes, when parents are unable to come to a decision about child-related issues such as parenting time and decision-making, or when there are concerns about parenting capacity, a mental health professional is asked by the family court to provide recommendations on the matter.

A parenting assessment (or Section 30) is a comprehensive, in-depth evaluation of the children’s needs, the parents’ ability and functioning, and the various relationships and dynamics within a family.

My role as an evaluator is to gather information and make recommendations in the best interests of the child(ren). I provide recommendations to the court on parental decision-making (custody) and parenting time (visitation) that are in the best interests of the child(ren). I also answer specific questions posed by the court. The S.30 evaluation is a process, which does not guarantee an outcome for either party.
